This trailhead marks the start of the popular hiking route up Mount Zeus (Zas), the highest peak in the Cyclades at 1,004 metres. The trail begins near the spring at Aria and climbs through oak woodland and rocky terrain to the summit, offering increasingly dramatic views of the surrounding Cycladic islands. The hike takes approximately 3-4 hours round trip.
