Promponas has made traditional Naxos citron (kitron) products since 1915 in Eggares, where the family grows citron and other fruit for its distillery. The fourth generation hosts orchard and distillery tours and tastings; the range includes kitron liqueurs at different strengths, other house liqueurs, gin, ouzo, loukoumia and spoon sweets, without preservatives per the own site.
