Panagia Drosiani is one of the oldest continuously functioning Christian churches in Europe, located near the village of Moni in the Naxos interior. The church dates from the early Byzantine period, with parts of the structure believed to originate from the 4th to 6th century AD. Its interior contains rare wall paintings from the 7th century, among the oldest surviving frescoes in Greece. The church's name, meaning "Our Lady of Freshness," refers to a nearby spring.
