About
The Jesuit Order has in its mission the spreading of devotion to Ιερά Καρδία του Ιησού; towards the end of the 19th century the church is repaired and renamed as the church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The Balkan Wars, World War I, the Asia Minor Catastrophe and the interwar period left the church in ruins once again.
