Livadi Beach

Irakleia

About

Livadi is the long beach on the northeast side, below the old kastro. It is one of the island’s open sandy stretches, with the hill-fort in sight and quieter water than the south coves when the meltémi is up.

Walk it from the harbour path, or come round by boat. The castle ruins are the landmark.
